Following many years of successful operation of The Lodge Trust Camping and Caravanning Club Certified Site, we are now also registered for the provision of a Caravan Club Certified Location.

The Camping Club site has 2 hard-standings and 6 hookups and costs £10.50 per unit night. The Caravan Club site has 5 hard-standings and electric hookups and costs £11.50 per unit night. Our Caravan Club CL was awarded the ‘BEST NEWCOMER CL 2008’ as voted for by club members

Fresh water tap, waste bins and toilet emptying facility are provided for each site. The site has direct access to the Country Park and our small Laundry can be used (subject to availability and a nominal charge) during your stay. Picnic tables will be available around the country walkway.

Both sites are only for members of the Camping and Caravanning Club or the Caravan Club. However, we can give you the relevant application form to join if you wish to stay, or you can join via their web sites:

Rutland is very proud of its motto “Multum in Parvo” which means “much in little”. Rutland Water is excellent for walking, bird watching, cycling etc.

With it being a small county, it doesn’t take very long to reach the many lovely towns and villages. There are children’s amenities, shopping centres, swimming pools, cinemas and lots more in the neighbouring counties of Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

Rutland has plenty of places to eat out, but why not try our own Country Café for a taste of homemade delights. Tourist information leaflets will be available in our café.

Booking of both Camping Club and Caravan Club sites is advisable at all times of the year.
